Location
Walking Trails operate between Selinda, Mokoba, Tshwene, and Zibalianja
camps in the north of the Selinda Reserve. Vegetation varies from
open plains to riverine forest.

Twin-bedded mini-Meru tents with flysheet
Facilities
Ensuite handbasin, and flush toilet. Shared
hot & cold twin bucket showers.

Table d'hôte. Meals are prepared
by the Trails Hostess around the campfire.
Bar
A full range of drink requirements for
the duration of the walk is determined before departure.
Laundry
Washed and ironed daily. (FOC).
Guest Participation
It is advisable that guests be physically
fit & under the age of 70 years. No children under age of 16.
Guests are not expected to participate in erecting/breaking camp
or any preparation of meals. Luggage is transferred separately to
each trails camp.
Armed Escort:
The Trails Guide carries a rifle, and is in radio contact with base
at all times. A support vehicle accompanies the walking trails for
the duration of the safari.
Activities
Duration
3 days walking with 2 nights in trails
camps. (Extended walks available).
Distances walked
There is approximately 7 kilometres inter-camp
walking each morning, with 3 kilometres casual walking in the vicinity
of each trails camp each afternoon.
Itinerary
Day 1
Guests stay the first night in either
Selinda or Zibalianja, with normal camp activities. A briefing will
take place in the evening with the Trails Guide.
Day 2
The safari departs early, arriving at
the first overnight camp before lunch. After lunch and siesta, the
afternoon is spent walking in the vicinity of camp, with a sundowner,
followed by dinner.
Day 3
After breakfast depart on the next trail,
arriving at the next overnight camp before lunch. Lunch and siesta,
followed by an afternoon walk in the vicinity of camp. A night drive
is offered.
Day 4
After breakfast depart on the final leg
of the trail, arriving at base camp before lunch (Selinda or Zibalianja).
Guests can opt to stay overnight, or fly on to another destination.
